Black Skimmer Decoys
Black Skimmer – Hollow, rotomolded polyethylene, 1”
hole for wooden dowel anchor or plastic plug.
These decoys are being used in a restoration project begun
in 2005 and coordinated by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources
Commission where they are trying to attract a number of species
to a dredge spoil island.
Other projects involving Black Skimmers are located in Georgia
and Massachusetts.
